adilas Auto Pilot, powered by Grok, answers questions about your business from your own adilas records and help, and opens the right page for you. It is read-only: it never adds, changes, deletes, sends or pays anything.
The panel
- Open it with Ask Auto Pilot (bottom right), the Auto Pilot icon in the Apex top bar or phone menu, the Ask button on a Today card, Ask beside the quick search, or Ctrl+K (Cmd+K) or Alt+G. Escape closes it; New starts a new conversation.
- It can find a page and open it (or say which permission you would need), search the help files, explain the page you are on, give Today's focus, answer for the Income Statement, open a report with its filters filled in, run a quick search (the records themselves are not sent to AI), and explain what one product or job contributed.
- Every tool works under your own permissions, read fresh for each question. There is no separate Auto Pilot permission.
- Ask it to clock you in or log hours and it opens the page where you do that yourself.
- The only links it shows are adilas pages that adilas built for the answer.
- Up to 20 questions in 10 minutes, 1,000 characters each. Never type card, bank or ID numbers: they are refused.
Today's focus: "What should I focus on?" is answered from the first three cards of your Today, in Today's order, with why each matters and what you can do, and a button that opens Today.
The Income Statement answer
- The figures come from adilas's own statement, not from AI: the General Ledger or the classic Income Statement - the book your company chose on Your business ("the book that counts") - each needing its usual permission.
- adilas draws the answer card itself: revenue, cost of goods sold, gross profit, expenses and net income for the period and location, the book, whether the period is locked (iced down) or may still change, and a button that opens that Income Statement. People with Hide Part Costs see revenue only.
- Every answer is checked before you see it: a number that did not come from your records or your question is taken out, and an answer with too many of those is not shown. The check also takes out claimed changes, web addresses and markup.
Your business
- A page of your company's own records, with no AI: Auto Pilot's setup steps (the public business card, whether the business is regulated, the book that counts, consent), your goal and weekly reviews, questions about the business, data to repair first, locations, fiscal year, what you use, sales, open invoices, quotes and work not yet invoiced, and inventory planning.
- Company administrators open it, and up to three managers they name. It needs the Apex look.
Consent
- Auto Pilot does nothing until a company administrator has confirmed the public business card and given the company's consent on Your business. Agreeing starts the free trial. An administrator can turn Auto Pilot off, or withdraw the consent, there at any time.
- What adilas sends to xAI: counts, amounts, dates, record numbers and the words on a card - not your customers' or staff members' names. xAI keeps what it receives for 30 days. Web research about your business is a separate choice.
- adilas keeps the questions and answers for your company's retention (30 days), then empties the text and keeps only which tools ran. You see only your own conversation; administrators see counts and costs, never the words.
- You see the panel when your company's plan is in its free trial or billing, and your own "Use The AI Agent" setting (My Personal Settings & Defaults) is yes.
Usage and the cap
- During the free trial adilas pays for all of your company's use of Grok in adilas. After it, adilas bills each month, on your adilas invoice, for that month's use of Grok in adilas (Auto Pilot, the Ask Grok bubble, Adi, the AI dashboards and the other Grok tools), up to your monthly cap.
- Auto Pilot usage (company administrators) shows your plan and the trial's days, this month by feature in dollars (what you are billed, or would be), where the month is heading at this pace, the monthly cap and how much of it is used, the panel's last 30 days (counts only), and each billed month.
- Every amount is in dollars, as billed. A company administrator can change the monthly cap on that page or on Your business.
- When the cap is reached, Grok stops answering for your company until next month or until the cap is raised: Today's sentences go back to plain ones and the rest of adilas keeps working.
- Turning Auto Pilot off stops the billing; turning it back on does not start a new trial.
