Today lists what needs attention in your company right now, most pressing first. It comes with the Apex look and needs no permission of its own: every card is measured under your own permissions, so you only see what you could open yourself.

The cards

• Each card says what needs attention, why now, the records behind it, what is uncertain, who owns the next step, what you can do, and how "done" will be recognized. A card that can't answer all of those is not shown.
• Kinds of cards: your assigned work (overdue, due today, this week, later), money customers owe by age, missing data (customers with no contact log or salesperson, items with no cost or vendor, received purchase orders with no expense, elements of time past their target date), online shop problems, and News & Updates that need an action. With the Today brief also: items to reorder, work to invoice, open quotes, past customers to win back, and the steps of setting up Your business.
• The order is a stated policy, not a guess: how urgent (how far past due), how much it matters, how sure adilas is of the figures, and how easy it is to act. One card per record, whoever is looking.
• Why now (top right of a card) is that reasoning in a few words: how overdue, the dollars or the count, the effort, and how long ago it was measured when that matters.
• The list is built again each time you open Today. Figures more than an hour old are not shown.

What you can do

• The card's button opens the page where the work is done. If you may not open it, the card names the permission you would need instead.
• I am on it, Done (say what shows it is done), Dismiss (give a reason), Not yet (put it off to a date) and Ask someone else. These record what happened; they do not do the work themselves.
• Without the Today brief, a card you put off is put off for the whole company until its date ("put off until later", with a way to bring it back). With the brief, your choices are your own: the card still shows for everyone else.
• Hidden by you (with the brief) lists the cards you dismissed or marked done, each with Bring it back.
• With the brief, Today shows at most seven cards: the first three are the brief, the rest are under See all.
• Drafts only: "Draft a reminder" or "Draft an email" opens a form for a person to read and send. Nothing is sent to a customer from Today, and the reorder card orders nothing.

The AI sentences

• Only the one sentence under a card's heading may be written by AI (Grok). The numbers on a card are always measured from your records, never written by AI.
• adilas writes a plain sentence for every card first. The AI sentence replaces it only when it passes every check: no number that is not in the card's own figures, no link, address or page name, no markup, not too long, and none of the words the card rules out (for example "overdue" on a receivables card).
• Cards that name a customer are never sent to AI, and AI is never given links.
• When AI is off, unavailable or slow, you get the plain sentences. The footer says whether any sentence was written by AI.
