Income statement: one column, a column per month, location or department, or beside the period before or last year, on the accrual or cash basis.
Balance sheet: on a date, beside the end of last month, the end of last fiscal year or the same date last year. Earlier years' profit is in Retained Earnings and this year's in Net Income, so assets always equal liabilities plus equity.
Statement of cash flows: the direct method (cash received from customers, paid to suppliers, for payroll and so on) or the indirect method (net income, then the changes), by month or beside another period. A payment counts for what its invoice or bill was for, so paying a bill for owner draws is financing. Purchases with no cash, such as equipment bought with a loan, are listed separately.
Reports: build your own statement layouts (rows of accounts, totals, percentages; columns of actuals, budgets and variances).
Analysis: trends and ratios over 6, 12 or 24 months. Cash forecast: the next 13 weeks from what is owed to you and by you.
Report pack: the month-end package for an owner, lender or accountant. Print it or save it as a PDF.
Every statement can be downloaded as a spreadsheet.
